I’m so tired of living in the rat race.
Monday to Friday: be productive, wake up early, stay up late.
Don’t waste the weekends! Get up early and finish your house chores.
It’s almost the new year—set your goals!
You’re not doing enough.
You’re not good enough.
My gawddd.
No wonder we’re all burnt out.
When’s the last time you actually smelled a rose on your walk?
Or just went on a walk for fun—not to hit your step goal?
When’s the last time you laid in the grass, soaking up the sun, doing absolutely nothing but just being?
When’s the last time you enjoyed a day without a to-do list?
I could go on and on. But the point is—
Life is flying by, and we’re all on autopilot just trying to make it to bedtime.
I’m not saying goals aren’t important. I’m a big goal girl myself.
But I believe there’s a better way to balance ambition with presence.
Because this moment—right here, right now—is what actually matters.
It’ll be a memory before you know it.
So stop and look around.
Talk to the trees.
Smile at the sun.
Kiss the air.
This earthly life is so unique. So beautiful.
And yet—we’re consumed by everything that feels wrong or not enough.
This is your reminder to slow down.
Yes Queen! 🙌🏼
